Honey

By Imani Thompson

What happens when a woman tired of the world's everyday injustices decides to take justice into her own hands?

Yrsa is a high achiever with strong ideas about right and wrong. She is also bored with her PhD, frustrated by the world around her and tired of the endless disappointments of men. Then one impulsive act leaves a man dead and suddenly, Yrsa feels more alive than ever.

Darkly funny, sharp and unpredictable, Honey is a compelling thriller about power, race, gender and the not-always-righteous path of taking matters into your own hands.
